Im sorry if this question seems incredibly Stupid to you. I believe I red the Documentation carefully enough but I am 100% clueless, so maybe I dont understand what some functions mean and I misinterpret them.
I am wondering because I think its a very basic function but I cannot seem the explanation for it, which doesnt make sense.
I want to use the Values stored in each Variable in programs following the Code in the Loop.
Basically I am building an Oven right now. I want to set the Temperature with the LCD1602 DfRobot (with the lcd menu I already created which works flawlessly). The Arduino should then compare the Sensor Temp Values with the Value which I set with the tcMenu but I cannot find any function on how to read the value/use it in following programs.
As of now, I only found:
To get the maximum value for any item
int maxVal = menuItem.getMaximumValue();
(like menuItem.getValue(example); ????? )
I would be very glad if anyone can help me figure this out or atleast point me in the right direction.
