Hi Dave. I've tried using embedControl via the serial COM port on my Arduino Mega. Initially this ran ok for a few times, so I tried changing two Analog menu item sliders to up/down controls. After a few retries, I find that embedControl will no longer run on my Win10 . Instead a dialog box reports : Failed to launch JVM. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing embedControl 2.5.0 but this does not change the response. Any ideas or pointers please?

EDIT: attached last log file.

I suspect there's an issue with a saved configuration or something.

All the configuration is in "~/.tcmenu"

You could try to remove the "panels" directory from there and see if it starts again.

Before that though, please could you attach the logs from ~/.tcmenu/logs directory, there should be logs for embed control there, they should be named connector.*

Ah, I didn't notice logs were already attached.

I'll fix this in 3.0, it shouldn't fail when an item that's customized isn't found.

The quickest option for now is to delete (or rename) - ~\.tcmenu\panels\044adb6f-3764-440b-bda9-472ab88719f7-layout.xml

FIXED : Thanks. I deleted ~\.tcmenu\panels\044adb6f-3764-440b-bda9-472ab88719f7-layout.xml and that allowed the Win10 embedCONTROL app to run again.
